Experience an immersive session exploring your business with my most popular session. Join me for an Incubate session where we collaborate to extract your ideas, thoroughly explore them, and put them into a focused plan that combines structure and process while maintaining a creative and adaptable approach.
Think lots of post it notes, lots of creative thinking and time for you to work on your business, rather than in it. This is the perfect session if you want a one off planning and strategy boost for your business, or as a powerful starting point alongside ongoing accountability support.
These sessions are available on Zoom, or in person in Leeds.
Before we meet, I’ll take time to thoroughly understand your business and the context behind your current goals or challenges. I’ll review your website, social media, offers, and any materials you share. This means we can dive straight into meaningful discussion during your session, whether that’s pricing, planning a launch, refining an idea, or unblocking a specific challenge in your business.
I will send through some prompts beforehand for you to spend 1-2 hours working through to make sure we make the most of our time together.
We’ll start by getting everything out of your head and onto the table – including ideas, questions, concerns and opportunities. Using creative thinking tools and practical frameworks, we’ll explore what’s really going on in your business and what will have the biggest impact moving forward.
Expect lots of post-it notes, open conversation and time to zoom out, connect the dots and make decisions. I’ll guide the session, ask deep questions, challenge assumptions, and help you turn ideas into next steps.
You’ll leave with a structured plan and a renewed sense of direction. You’ll receive this plan digitally as a Miro Board so you can continue to tweak and change it as your business evolves. This is a one off session, but is really well paired with my Reflection accountability packages.
Sessions can be held over zoom or in person in Leeds*.

Ten years ago I was studying human-centered design thinking and I fell in love with a diagram that showed divergent and convergent thinking, and it’s been on my mind ever since. Divergent thinking is about opening up and generating ideas, exploring possibilities and thinking creatively without judgement. Convergent thinking is about bringing everything together and helping you choose what matters most and turn ideas into action.
That idea of exploring widely, then focusing intentionally underpins everything at Three Beams Thinking. Alongside this, I draw on a range of practical frameworks, including the Business Model Canvas, empathy mapping and sales funnels, to support clear, strategic decision-making.

Each session is designed to meet you where you are and help you take the next confident step forward. Explore our other packages and find the approach that aligns with your goals.
A shorter 1-2 hour deep dive to untangle a specific challenge and leave with decisions made and direction set.
Ongoing, flexible accountability sessions to support your business and keep your plans moving forward.
A specific, focused session to align your future strategy with your capacity, helping you decide what to prioritise, pause or let go of and create a plan that actually fits your life.
Absolutely. Strategy isn’t about complicated documents in bigger companies; it’s about making better decisions day to day. You’re making strategic choices all the time, often without the space to step back and think them through. These sessions are designed to help give you direction and highlight how you can make strategic decisions easily every day, not just jumping from thing to thing.
There’s no “right” stage to be ready. The sessions work just as well if you’re at the idea stage, growth stage, or reassessing your direction. What matters most is that you’re ready to step back, reflect, and think openly about your business.
I work primarily with small business owners, freelancers and founders across a wide range of sectors. Many are service-based or creative businesses, but what they tend to have in common is lots of ideas, limited time, and a desire to run their business in a way that feels aligned and sustainable. If you’re thoughtful about how you want to run your business and have lots of ideas, you’re in the right place.
I’ve delivered Incubate sessions with over 140 small businesses across a wide range of sectors, and that experience has shown me that this way of working really does translate, whatever your industry. I’ve worked with designers, photographers, personal trainers, a private chef, architects, a psychologist, copywriters, coaches and many more. If you’d like to talk through whether this approach would be a good fit for you and your business, book a call to chat through further.
A Spotlight session and an Incubate session use the same way of working but they differ in depth and focus.
A Spotlight session is shorter and more targeted. It’s designed to zoom in on one specific area of your business, such as pricing, a new idea, a launch, or a particular challenge. You’ll leave with clarity and an action plan for that one focus area. It’s ideal when you know what you want to work on and don’t need a full, wide-ranging review.
An Incubate session is longer and more immersive. It gives you the space to step back and look at your business as a whole. This is where we decide on strategy, review your full business and create a more joined-up plan. It’s ideal if things feel tangled, you’re holding lots of ideas, or you want a more comprehensive planning boost.
Sessions can be held online or in person in Leeds. Both formats are equally effective as I use physical Post-It notes, or virtual ones in a tool called Miro. They are always held in a completely private space.
You can book a totally free, no pressure phone call with me to see if we’d be a good fit. I’d love to learn more about your business and I can tell you all about the sessions. Book a call here.
All mentoring sessions are in confidence and everything we discuss stays between us. I often share when someone has had a session online (but never the content of the session) and I always check with them first if this is ok to share. Quite a few people have booked a session in private – with one person declaring me as their ‘secret planning weapon’!
Yes, absolutely! This is your session and it can be shaped around what feels right for you. Just let me know in advance if others will be involved, as this can influence how we structure the session and what we focus on. For example, you may prefer to keep certain areas, such as finances or sensitive decisions, as a private discussion.
Yes. I offer 20% off all 1:1 mentoring sessions for social enterprises and charities. Having worked in the third sector for 15 years, this is something that matters to me, and it’s part of my commitment to making my services more accessible to organisations making an impact.
